I am fortunate enough to live in a country where we have an amazing diversity of landcapes, cultures and animals all bathed in ever-changing light. I can drive 20 minutes from my house and see a rhino grazing wild or a lion hunting. Those moments are my inspiration and to me photography is just about showing the truth of that. I want to evoke an emotion in the people that see my photographs, transport them there and engage their senses. Photography has enhaced my appreciation and understanding of nature and has helped me to predict a particular situation. The most important thing is that wherever I am in the world about to take a picture, it's not about getting the photo....it's about being there.
